Ingredients:

DOUGH

  •  215 ml  Milk
  •  7 g  Instant Yeast
  •  35 g  White Caster Sugar
  •  16 g  Vanilla Sugar
  •  35 g  Butter
  •  400 g  Flour
  •  4 g  Salt

GARNISH

  •  Granulated Sugar

CREAM

  •  400 g  Mascarpone Cheese
  •  200 g  White Chocolate

Recipe:

  1. Start by taking a large bowl and adding lukewarm milk, yeast, vanilla sugar, and white caster sugar. Mix well and let it rest for 5 minutes to activate the yeast.
  2. Next, add the butter, flour, and salt. Stir until you achieve a smooth consistency.
  3. Knead the dough thoroughly for 10-12 minutes. Cover the bowl and let the dough rise in a warm spot for about an hour, or until it has doubled in size.
  4. Dust your work surface with flour and roll the dough out into a rectangular shape.
  5. Using a pizza cutter, slice the dough into 16 even pieces.
  6. Arrange the dough pieces on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Allow them to rise for an additional 30 minutes, or until they’ve doubled in size.
  7. In the meantime, melt the white chocolate in a double boiler and set it aside to cool.
  8. Heat a layer of sunflower oil in a frying pan over medium-high heat (175°C). Fry the dough pieces until they are golden brown on both sides. Let them drain on paper towels.
  9. Coat the freshly fried donuts in granulated sugar and let them cool completely.
  10. In a bowl, mix the mascarpone with the melted white chocolate until smooth.
  11. Carefully slice the cooled donuts lengthwise, pipe the creamy filling inside, and sandwich them back together.
