  •  500 g Flour
  •  15 g  Granulated Sugar
  •  10 g  Instant Yeast
  •  8 g  Salt
  •  1  Egg
  •  50 ml  Sunflower Oil
  •  270 ml Water

  •   Sesame Seed

Recipe:

Prepare the Dough:

In a deep bowl, combine the flour, sugar, yeast, salt, beaten egg, sunflower oil, and lukewarm water. Mix well and knead for 10-12 minutes until the dough is smooth and elastic.

First Rise:

Cover the dough and let it rise in a warm place for 1 hour, or until it has doubled in size.

Divide the Dough:

Divide the dough into 10 equal pieces, each weighing approximately 83 grams. Shape each piece into a smooth, round ball.

Shape the Dough Balls:

Take each dough ball and divide it into 3 smaller pieces. Shape these pieces into round balls.

Roll out each small ball into a 9 cm round and stack three rounds on top of each other. Repeat this process for all dough balls.

Second Rise:

Place the stacked dough rounds on a baking tray lined with parchment paper.

Brush the tops with beaten egg and sprinkle with sesame seeds.

Let them rise for another 30 minutes, or until they have doubled in size.

Bake the Buns:

Preheat the oven to 200°C (392°F).

Bake the burger buns for 12-15 minutes, keeping an eye on them as baking times may vary.

Once baked, let them cool on a wire rack.
